4. What is Personal Data?
Personal data is defined by the General Data Protection Regulation (EU Regulation 2016/679) (the "GDPR") as 'any information relating to an identifiable person who can be directly or indirectly identified in particular by reference to an identifier'. Personal data is, in simpler terms, any information about you that enables you to be identified — obvious information such as your name and contact details, but also less obvious information such as identification numbers, electronic location data, and other online identifiers.
5. What Are My Rights?
Under the GDPR, you have the following rights, which we will always work to uphold:
- The right to be informed about our collection and use of your personal data.
- The right to access the personal data we hold about you (see Part 13).
- The right to have your personal data rectified if it is inaccurate or incomplete.
- The right to be forgotten — to ask us to delete or dispose of any of your personal data that we have.
- The right to restrict (i.e. prevent) the processing of your personal data.
- The right to object to us using your personal data for a particular purpose or purposes.
- The right to data portability — asking for a copy of data you provided to re-use with another service or business.
- Rights relating to automated decision-making and profiling.
For more information, contact us using the details in Part 15. Further information about your rights can also be obtained from the Information Commissioner's Office or your local Citizens Advice Bureau. If you have any cause for complaint about our use of your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office.

7. How Do You Use My Personal Data?
Under the GDPR, we must always have a lawful basis for using personal data — performance of a contract with you, your consent, or our legitimate business interests. Your personal data may be used for: providing and managing your Account; providing and managing your access to Our Site; personalising and tailoring your experience; supplying our products and services to you; personalising and tailoring our products and services; communicating with you; supplying you with information by email and post that you have opted in to (you may unsubscribe at any time); and analysing your use of Our Site to continually improve it.
With your permission and/or where permitted by law, we may also use your personal data for marketing purposes. You will not be sent any unlawful marketing or spam, and you will always have the opportunity to opt out.
8. How Long Will You Keep My Personal Data?
- We keep personal and non-personal data as outlined in Part 6 from initial collection for a maximum of 36 months.

- If you have an active contract with us, we keep the data for the minimum time legally possible for accounting purposes after the contract ends.
9. How and Where Do You Store or Transfer My Personal Data?
We store or transfer your personal data within the UK and European Economic Area (the "EEA"), meaning it is fully protected under the GDPR or equivalent standards. Where we transfer data to a third party based in the US, this may be protected if they are part of the EU-US Privacy Shield. Contact us using the details in Part 15 for information about the particular data protection mechanism used when transferring data to a third country.
To protect your data we take measures including: regular GDPR training and awareness for staff; regular review of data security policies, storage, and processing locations; best-available encryption and authentication technology; and review of third-party data security, training, storage, and protection rules to ensure GDPR-compatible standards.
10. Do You Share My Personal Data?
We may sometimes contract with third parties to supply certain products and services, which may require access to some or all of your personal data:
- Webinar hosting platform (Livestorm) — used only if you sign up to a webinar; facilitates sign-up, reminders, and scheduling. Data is processed under Livestorm's terms of service and privacy policy.
- Campaign Monitor Pty Ltd — email marketing tool, used only with your consent to newsletters or bulk mailings. Name and email address are stored in a US data centre; processing occurs in the USA, Australia, and Germany, with content delivery via Fastly.
Where personal data is required by a third party or transferred outside the EEA, we take steps to ensure it is handled safely, securely, and in accordance with your rights and our obligations under the law. In some limited circumstances, we may be legally required to share certain personal data if we are in legal proceedings or complying with legal obligations, a court order, or the instructions of a government authority.
11. How Can I Control My Personal Data?

13. How Can I Access My Personal Data?
You can ask for details and a copy of the personal data we hold about you — a "subject access request" — made in writing to the email or postal addresses in Part 15. There is not normally any charge; a fee may apply only for manifestly unfounded or excessive requests. We respond within one month, extendable to a maximum of three months for complex requests, keeping you informed of progress.

Our Site may place first-party Cookies on your computer or device to facilitate and improve your experience. All Cookies are used in accordance with current Cookie Law, and you will be shown a consent prompt before Cookies are placed. You may deny consent, though certain features may not function fully.
